Made me hungry

We have a really. good authentic Mexican food place here in our town. You know its real when they have menudo every Friday and every Mexican in northern Oklahoma shows up. They also have home made tamales you can buy in bulk that will make you slap your momma. A friend of mine told me he put some on his smoker and they were delicious. Now I'm gonna have to try that out.

Deep-fried hot tamales are on nearly every restaurant menu, down here....they dang good, too !!!

I hadn't thought of frying them either. Y'all would eat a fried doorknob if you could. get the batter to stick to it.

Interesting coincidence. I had someone smoking tamales pop up on my FB feed this morning. I'm not a big fan of tamales I n general. They're not bad, but there's other things I like much more when I eat MexicN.
