Binge watching

Signed up for another round of Netflix cause the Missus just HAD to watch the latest iteration of Gilmore Girls (that show gives me a headache if I have to watch it for more than 2 seconds - aaaargh :banghead) but did manage to find a few more that make up for it. For those that like Vikings, you gotta try The Last Kingdom. It's better, imho, way better.

Also hooked on Narcos and Marco Polo. Been bingewatching all three. Good stuff!

Jboy, we watched "The Tiger" a few nights ago....great movie, but the drawback is you hafta read the captions in English....however, with the scenery and intense plot, it's worth it.

The only binge-watching I have ever done, if you call it that, was watching 2 episodes a night of the series Game of Thrones so I could get caught up.

On a related note...it REALLY sucks that we have to wait for this season of GOT to start!

The weather here has been so crappy (rain now turned to snow and I HATE snow) that I'm getting cabin fever. Having some new series to watch helps with the boredom.

Good thing! I like snakes but that is one ugly mofo and I'd sure not be messing with that critter. I have lots of little garter snakes that hang around the house in the summer. One I recognize cause I accidentally cut the end of his tail off years ago with the weed whacker. I call him Stubby. Cute little guy.

I 2nd John boys assessment of the last kingdom. Great show. I wouldn't say better than Vikings just cause they're significantly different approaches in storytelling. Longmire looks like too much of a commitment for me right now :)

Hey, Leonard, I didn't know anyone else here even watched the Vikings....is Ragnar daid???....if not, he's one bad-azz mofo....he got beat to a pulp, stabbed in the gut twice, a cross cut into his forehead, then tossed into a pit full of vipers....yep, he's daid. ;)

I think Odin is gonna re-incarnate him, and send him back in another body to guide his son's futures.....jmho.

Watched half of the first episode of Narcos and it was pretty good. Ain't found time to get back to it yet. But it's on the list.

Back on post track, "The Forsaken" on Netflix is a dang good western....the Sutherland boys, father/son are the main players....Keifer uses a Lemat pistol in the end....if I had $10K laying around, I'd love to have one. ;)

Started Hell On Wheels. Purty dang good so far in the first 5 episodes.

I just finished the series up the other day.

I just started another one on Amazon. "The Man in the High Castle". It's an alternate history/sci-fi story about America in 1962 if the Axis had won WWII. The Germans control the east coast and the Japanese the west coast with a neutral zone dividing them.

The first two episodes were pretty interesting so we'll see how it goes.
