I started a sour dough starter in mid-December for making bread over the holidays. My first mistake was keeping it alive after New Years. My second mistake is regretting what I have to throw away when I feed it.

So I've been using what I should be throwing away in biscuits for breakfast and having what's left for lunch. Oh yeah, I've probablty personally put 100,000 American bees back to work too. Trump can't take credit for that.

This is todays leftovers.

Ha! Looks like that skillet is a #5, I think you'd starve! ;)

Yep, an 8" skillet but its a #5. No ring or name. I have another 8" one that is made in Taiwan. Both are handy as a pocket on a shirt for cornbread or biscuits or a couple eggs.

I bet I know a bunch of deploribles that could have F@£! up some sour dough bread about the first of December if someone had thought enough of them to brought a started and fixed some for them.
I guess our friendship only goes so far....
