Since I am now at liberty to discuss my Monsanto trip, have either of you any experience and/or knowledge about Monsanto's newly released XtendaMax Roundup 2 soybean or cotton seed, with Vaporgrip technology???.

Part of the technology was released at the end of 2016, but final EPA approval of the label is more recent....quite impressive technology, when utilized and applied 100%, according to the label.

I personally have not. We are not row croppers so other than herbicides I really don't use a lot of the products.
One of my best buddies owned and row crops over 12,000 acres. He literally buys his round up and seed by the train car load. I'm sure he has used or will use the products you are asking about after he get the winter wheat off the fields.

Selling is not my job....it's new technology, and was just wondering if word of it had reached some other areas besides the deep south.

How are you liking this new gig, Muddy? Do you get to get out and visit with farmers now?

I had to go look pig weed up. It sounds like you just need to convince the granola heads to eat more of it.

Pretty nice gig, so far....last week was intense....tons of new technology info. crammed into a few days, but I got it stored in my noggin, now....yep, I'll get to visit with the farmers at the grass roots level, which I really like....the corporate types can shuffle around in their board rooms, and sniff each other's azzholes. ;)

As a FYI for you, Cap....pig weeds have to be treated in the 3-4 inch stage of growth....any larger, and control will be erratic.

3-4 inches might be stretching it for old Cappy. And even then its doubtful he can control it.

At least, that's what somebody told me.

That would leave Barry out. He wouldn't touch GMO weed.

Why hell no. You can't fool with Mother Nature on some things. I hope they never do that, although they probably already have.

And this K2 stuff is out of hand too. You oughta have to be 30 before you can smoke pot. And good looking.

My "job" pretty much entails getting it "out" of the field. ;) My bil farms all our ground and I'd guess he's on top of it. Both my niece and his nephew work full time for the 'family farm" and they both have degrees in ag.. They keep their hands in everything.
