Pretty rough weather headed ya'lls way....we escaped the 'naders, with only about 3 inches of rain, which we needed, btw....the 75 degree temps have screwed up mine and Sandy's squirrel hunting until about Thursday, when it'll get back down into the 30's.

Thanks Muddy. Glad y'all made out OK. It was 75 here today. My buddy and I put up a new tower stand on the hunt club today. We earned our living today I tell you. Hope we get some rain but not a lot of the bad stuff.

We had 79 yesterday and 70s today with no wind. Went fishing, caught some crappie, saw an eagle up close, saw a big ass white pelican, and got a sunburn on Feb 7.

Life is good. Y'all keep the hatches battened.

All good this morning. The rain came through but the bad stuff stayed south of us.
We needed the rain I had just fertilized my yard.

You know that will just make the grass grow, right?

The big ass white ones migrate in here in the fall and usually by now are all gone on further south. With rhis global warming crap I guess this one hung around here. I assume they eventually end up in the gulf?

They don't all head for the beaches. Our lakes are full of 'em also.

They hit our lakes in the fall when the shad are running so thick you can almost walk on them. It must be like Thumper at a KFC buffett for them.

I contracted with a guy in Thailand to build up a supply for this place. You can be the first to pick one out! ;)

Sunny and 70 here today. Tomorrow morning it'll be 35 degrees colder with snow/rain and winds blowing a steady 20-25 from the NW. I think I may need to get a walk in this afternoon.
