Izzat a Ugly Stik? One of my favorite rods.

Yep, that's pretty much my "go-to" make and model of rod.

Of course, I've been known to score from time to time as well.

Like when I caught two good sized bronzebacks on a rapala jerk bait

8568

Or that time I caught a 7,000lb Tarpon That ran one boat aground, had to transfer to another guide boat while fighting the fish and the guide was scared shitless to get in the water because of the mount of sharks we were seeing.
8569

Or that time where we were KILLIN' the stripers with Cap'n Egghead at the helm!

8570

And then... this one time at band camp with a really creepy guy photobombing me.

I'm a big fan of the fiberglass tips on them. Fast tip, good backbone. You can yank the lips right off a crappie with them.

They're all fishing pictures! It's not ME talking about rod types. I'll leave that to you "rod guys'.

It does require a certain amount of rugged good looks to pull it off.

Larke as my witness.... he was REALLY proud about the bbq place him and Di took us. And that WAS some GOOOOOD GA BBQ.
I bet he said "we'll stop and get some BBQ 'sammiches' at the place we always go to when we go to the farm". 'Twas but a dirty little hole in the wall in a gravel parking lot. (Usually the best places). He was excited as he could be to be taking his good buddy Larke and this fat scab down to his corner of paradise.

Actually.... here's a pic of the place. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170210/0ae8be3028a272154e0a7c514b1432e9.jpg

That was a good weekend.
I guess the whole "one" picture was WAY To hard for LJ to understand...
he's limited like that.
I'm in SC so am very limited on the pictures I have.
Probably one of the big reds or the Tarpon I was using for bait to hook up on a 2,000 pound shark! :)

You had removed the picture but if you look at the very bottom of the edit page you will see it leaves a thumbnail of removed images. You have to delete that thumbnail also.

Those pictures were taking in 1997.
That was my very first 25 lb King Salmon, caught on the Columbian river. Friends took me out on their boat.

The other fish, was caught on another friends boat in Florida. I think it was a small grouper. Not sure, too long ago.

The other pic was me running another friends boat, on Silver Springs, in Florida.

Here's a couple more, a little more recent.

8587 Fish caught on Banks Lake, WA around 2012.

8588Lake Trout caught on Lake Roosevelt, 2013.
I went with a female boat owner. She taught me how to catch them and we limited.

Loudoun county has big plans. It'll stay closed for 2 years. Park stuff, accessible blah blah... basically ruining it.
