Dang. That looks like a heart attack looking for a place to happen.
I bet it was off the hook good!
Ever done that with a deer tenderloin ?

I had some PR friends i worked with in Dallas. His wife, who was hot as hell by the way, made a peurto rican style pork roast stuffed with garlic that would make you slap your mamma.

Larke, as a mater of fact I have a deer tenderloin like that but not smoked. I do marinate it for a day then put it in the bacon... love it..

Barry, I heard a thing or two about them puertorricans.... lol!

I sure wish I'd kept up with that guy and his wife. Good people. His name, by the way is Jose Feliciano.

If Kronos was telling that story it would have been the blind one.

Nandy, I put a wrapped pork loin, that looked similiar to your's, on my electric smoker for supper, last night....usually, I never have to even look at whatever I'm smoking....I just go by the guide directions for the amount of cooking time required for whatever I'm smoking at 225 degrees, and it always turns out perfect.

Well, my wife happened to plug in the battery charger for her golf cart, which happens to be on the same elec. circuit....it threw the breaker, but she didn't realize it....long story short, our supper was about an hour late, but still delicious. ;)

Deputy, who is Kronos?
Muddy, I use a wireless thermometer to keep tabs on the temperature of the meat and cook accordingly. Ribs is the only thing I smoke without the use of a thermometer. Once the ribs meat starts to recede from the tip of the bone then I know it is ready...

I think it's t was a Freudian slip because when Kribbs tells a story it's a time suck.
