Good point, never thought of that. But I guess it don't hurt.

I caught this fish in July one year well after they had laid their eggs. I imagine this fish would have tipped the scales north of 15 pounds in March when full of eggs. I released her back and I'm headed to the coast today to fish that lake for a few days. Hope she remembers my kindness and jumps back on my mess this afternoon! She should be heavy with eggs now.
