Mudward. Have you been yet? It was 20 degrees this morning here. I got to the farm early to listen but heard no Gobblin'
Saw three in one pasture and 8 in my little dove field.
But all were silent.
It comes in here Monday. Hope it warms up some. They are hard to hunt in cold weather.

Cap, two more funerals and this cold weather has kept me outta the woods----yet.

However, may the Good Lord have mercy on their feathery butts, when folks stop dying around here, and it warms up!!! ;)

I've spend all afternoon walking a tract of land I hope to close on in the next week or so. There is sign everywhere.
Might just have to set and listen for them to roost.
