What's the best scratch product? I don't usually worry much about scratches on my pickup, as we're usually in the backcountry two or three times a month. But i've got a bad one I picked up fishing in Arkansas last spring and I'd like to fix it. Its not down to metal, but it is an ugly scratch.

I've tried a couple of them, including the stuff in the orange bottle they advertise on TV, and haven't been all that impressed.

I think my truck came with a coverup paint pen from the dealership , I haven't used it yet but I assume you can buy them from Toyota as well.

Yep this didn't scratch the paint but scratched the clear coat. Its a white truck so iI just need something that'll restore that finish. Its not like the days when a little rubbing compound went a long ways!

This isn't really what you asked, because I think you are looking for a compound or cream/wax of some sort.
But, this product here is a great one.
You get exact match of your vehicle by vin code.
It has a pen on one end for real tiny scratches. Other end has a cap with a small amount of clear coat. Unscrew that cap and you have more paint, but with a small brush for bigger scratches.
I like it solely for the clear coat applicator. It's great.
A little pricey for .2 ounces of paint and .1 ounces of clear coat, but it goes a long way 8813
