I had visitors while turkey hunting....

I forgot to mention that the turkeys started showing up, at the same time the cows came to visit my turkey stand....I noticed that the cows were kicking up grasshoppers and other insects, as they were grazing....and, they were flipping over every dry cow pie, looking for grubs and bugs underneath.

So, if you're turkey hunting in a cattle ranch, watch the cows and turds. ;)

Whenever I hunt turkey's I look for flipped over cow pies on purpose. If I find a bunch and they look recently flipped over I know I'm in a good area.
