Rainy day activity....

Since it's a rainy day, and I like to cook something for the weekend, anyway, I've tossed my wild turkey legs and thighs into a pot of boiling chicken broth.

Gonna make a small pot of turkey soup, and save some of the meat back to try a variation of pig dip, using Cap's recipe, except turkey instead of pig....prolly will hafta tweek and spice it up a bit, since poultry is a sorta bland meat.

If it turns out good, I'll call it "Turk Dip"....if not, then I'll just call it "Turkey Sheeit". ;)

Yep, Thump, I been keeping up with your wildfire situation on the news....nearly 1,000 firefighters already dispatched, and some super-tanker aircraft are on the way, too....looks like you gotta small chance of getting some rain in the next few days.
