Disc brakes or pads? Any chance you've got some debris stuck up in there?

It's brake dust on the rotor. Nothing wrong at all. Some brakes linings do it worse than others.

Keep in mind most brake shoes and pads have a metal wear indicator in them to let you know (by squealing or making kind of a grinding noise) that its time for a brake job. Having done brake jobs before with the cheapest pads I could find, they didn't last me but a couple of years. So it might not be out of the question that the older pads are ready already to be replaced, depending on how you use your truck.
If the noise comes and goes though, I doubt its the wear indicator.

Squeaking only when hot sounds like something might be binding when it gets warm. What did they change at your last brake job? Just pads? If all the other parts are original, the piston might be sticking in the caliper and the pads are dragging on the rotor. Might need to replace entire caliper and don't forget to replace the rubber part of the brake line that feeds the caliper. It can break down internally and little pieces of rubber block the passages in the caliper holding the brakes on when they should be released.

Might also need some disk brake anti-squeak paste like Airbud says.

I was gonna suggest cranking the stereo... but you may cause the door to fall off in your little truckette :)

I glossed my rotors once. Three fucking weeks of penicillin.
