Things have been really busy around here lately, and we've been having take-out meals, or grabbing something to eat on-the-go.....I'd hinted around having a home-cooked meal, and this is what she prepared for us.....fresh sweet corn, fried venison loin, boilt okra, fried squash, and tasty sliced tomatoes with a light vinegrette.....talk about larrupin !!!

And, yes, the boilt okra slid right down my gullet. ;)

Boilt okra may as well be raw oysters as far as I'm concerned. Like eating snot balls! Now FRIED okra, that's a whole nuther story. I could prolly eat my weight in fried okra and/or fried squash! Boil either one of 'em and they should go into the pig slop bucket imho! That said, I'd be all over that plate right there (after I rolled that okra off onto my napkin)! :)
