I haven't drawn a charcoal drawing in many, many years. I actually forgot how much I enjoy using it as a medium. This is a portrait of one of my former students. She has had a string of really bad health issue the last few years and I decided her and her mother needed a (pick me up). Anyway I surprised them with the portrait last week. It seemed to be appreciated. I thought perhaps some of y'all might like a little looky-see at it.
