Tomorrow (7/11) is National Rainier Cherry Day, but I celebrated a little early by eating a pound of 'em for desert tonight. It's supposed to be a good harvest this year.

the Raniers we have in the stores here are the itty bitty models. Hopefully some of the larger variety will show up soon. I'm baching it this week so I'm headed towards Sprouts for a ribeye and a tater baker here in a bit. I'll see what they've got!
