Fished a couple of mornings last week.

It's been hotter that the hinges on the gates of Hell here last week. So my buddy and I got up a few mornings at 5 and went to my new land. We would put the boat in about six and fish to about 8:30 or 9... we spanked some big bream every morning till the sun got on the water and then they would shut off. One morning a big snapping turtle came up about 20 yards from the boat. I had on a lure I make that sorta like a spinner bait. I cast over the cooter and snagged him and the fight was on! Finally got him up beside the boat and grabbed him by the tail...

I always put the fish in the livewell(s) in the boat and then when done throw them in the bottom of the boat and count them and make a picture. All fish were released alive to be caught again...
