Yea, I've had a few dogs in my life that would use up all 9 of them cats lives in a minute.

When I was a kid, we moved from the country to town for a few months. Brought the "farm dog" (A Weimar) with us. About the day after we got moved in the neighbor came over to say. "If you think anything of that dog - you may want to keep it tied up. That old tomcat of ours has whipped every dog in town." Dad allowed as how he guessed they'd let them sort it out amongst themselves. Neighborhood relations where a little strained after the dog killed the cat - under *their* back porch. ;)

Years later I had an open-tick English hound that was death on cats. There wasn't any "fight" to it. He'd hit them on a dead run and "crunch".. never saw one last over about 10 seconds.
