Which is correct!

'roofs' or 'rooves'

'Rooves' sounds weird to me.

I recently asked a group of supposedly smart people and they didn't have a clue.
Nor a clew.
Nor a hammock.

rooves is an outdated secondary form but still correct. Roofs is correct also and a more modern term

Is it a flock of geese or a skein of geese? or perhaps a drove or a passel?

I refer to them as a group of flying livers.
