Felt soles Anybody?

I need to replace the felt soles on a pair of old Simms wading boots. Anybody done this or had it done? I can gorilla glue them myself if I can figure out where to get soles and studs.

Sorry, I buy Korker boots these days. They have interchangeable soles and it takes less than 2 minutes to go from an old felt sole to a new one, or from one style of sole to another. I love them because I can just switch soles and be legal in any state rather than buy different boots. You might want to check them out.

My problem, Sky, is I don't use them but once or twice a uear so its hard to justify the expense of buying a newpair.

Of course, when I figure in the cost of knee surgery and rehab .i likely could have bought several pairs.

I'm like Josh Deets though. I'm not one to give up on a garment just because of a little wear, as Gus said about him.
