There'll be a major fight some time during this cards- cubs series this weekend.
The starting cubs pitcher (Lackey) AND catcher (Contreras) both just got tossed for arguing balls and strikes.

Both of those players are hotheads. Maddon was arguing balls and strikes too at the same time but they did nothing to him. I expect there will be suspensions, which to a starting pitcher is nothing.

The delay in the game affected the Cards pitcher. He basically went about 40 minutes between pitches while everyone pulled their head out of their ass. The game got sloppy on the Cards side and they blew it. He had struck out five in four innings with like one hit before that happened.

Did you see where the Tigers catcher James McCann and the manager Brad Ausmus were both ejected for arguing balls and strikes then the replacement catcher missed the first ball pitched to him and it plunked the ump on the shoulder.
