Too Close To Home!

This whole Vegas shooting has hit too close to home. I discovered this, this morning when I recognized my friend on the news, before I really understood what was happening. I've known Mike for about as long as this Goodhunting site has been in existence. He is a great guy and while I'm glad he wasn't shot, I'm just sick that he had to experience this though. Sometimes this world is really messed up!

Thump actually that first interview is the first thing I saw this morning. I figured the other interview covered a little more. Either way, what a horrible thing to have to experience.

Poor guy retired from teaching recently and was just down in Vegas celebrating his 48th birthday along with his girlfriend. He is a super good hunter and trapper. In fact I have a box of skulls to clean for him in my freezer right now. I still can't get my mind around the fact that he was in the middle of all this crap. It's the last thing I would have ever expected a guy that has lived in the Alaskan bush most of his life would ever experience.
