That K Sate Texas game will reveal whether the Texas performance at USC was a fluke or not.

Yeah I was kinda iffy on that one, Texas is home this week. Buchele hasn't impressed me at Qb yet

Tulane and Tulsa ought to be a good evenly matched game

BarryBobPosthole

Tulsa is really hurting this year. Struggling at qb like a lot of teams. So Texas didn't stick with that freshman that impressed so much against the prune pickers?

That ball game tonight looks like it might be a good one.

This is one I wouldn't mind missing. If the pack doesn't win then maybe one of their big defensive tackles will leave some cleat marks on Petrinos face. Btw, my dislike of BP has nothing to do with his time at Arkansas, it has everything to do with his totally amoral character, especially in dealing with his players and recruits. He is a giant egotistical narcissistic prick.

Oh, I forgot to add a big hot steaming pile to my list.

My MS State boys are off this weekend.....but, just for the heckuvit, post up your pick for the ole pizz/aubbie game.....inquiring minds wanna know. ;)

Can West Virginia stay within a TD of TCU? Be nice if they can. Personally I think their defense is about 2 days away from being exposed. I hope I am wrong. :)

IMO that game will be closer than advertised. Granted TCU has a signature win, but that was against a team that has no signature wins!
It'd be great if TCU was as strong as advertised. So far, I don't see much except a really good QB and a couple of decent receivers.

BM. How about 35-14 Aubbie? I think ole miss plays better

For State to win, I think the defense is gonna have to slow Louisville down as I don't think State can keep up if it turns into a basketball game.

Rush three, four backers and stay home. Make him beat you with his arm and you'll have a chamce.

Hah! I love seeing the overlooked jump up and bite the media darlings..... unless the media darlings are my teams> :)

Great Win for the Pack and Hank too!

And Lamar Jackson didn't look like a pro prospect to me. Sure he can scramble, but the least pressure and his accuracy went to shit.
Houston, I think it was, did the exact same thing to Louisville last year. And then Kentucky went and executed the exact same game plan the following week.
Weak sauce. No wonder Petrino is planning to leave when Ajackson goes pro.

I think their hiring of Petrino, given the basketball problems, might be a reflection that their priorities are a bit "askew".

BarryBobPosthole

What they are saying now about Pitino getting 98% of the cash in their last shoe contract is pretty bald faced if you ask me.

Is it odd that Petrino and Pitino are only a couple of vowels different?

Not sure. But, I'll be rooting for them today. They're one of my favorite "adopted" teams.

ole pizz vs. auburn= boys vs. men.....sorry, QA, but I think you gonna miss this one.....it's already 35-3 at half.
Never thought I'd say this, but ole pizz looks so bad, I almost feel sorry for them......almost. ;)

I think both the Sooners and Gators under-estimated their opponents, this weekend.....really hate that for your Sooners, Tpost.....but, screw both the gators and the bayou biatches. ;)

BarryBobPosthole

If Mike stoops isn't fired for this defensive performance and at Baylor I won't be watchng them as long as he is D coordinator. That's just unacceptable for a top ten program. Tackling was poor, coverage was poor, amd we stayed in the 3-4 all day and made zero asjustments.
Sign me disgusted.

8-5 kind of a blah week. At least I nailed the TCU/WV game.

1) I probably need to stop picking the Arkansas games...like shooting fish in a barrel
2) Tulsa is a Jekyll and Hyde, they're out of the rotation too
3) I got blown out of the water on the Ohio st/Maryland game
4) NEVER PICK AGAINST THE MIDSHIPMEN
5) it doesn't matter if you pick for or against the Longhorns, they'll let you down

What's everyone's opinion on Harbaugh and Michigan? How long do they keep him if he can't beat Sparty or the Buckeyes?

I'd keep him as a recruiter. Let the head coach target who he wanted and sic Harbaugh on them. His ridiculous antics and trash talk appeals to kids. Once they get on campus let someone else coach them

Most fan bases would be happy with 10-2 for a few years after what Michigan has been through. Somehow, I don't the think the folks in Ann Arbor are part of that group.

My take is they don't care if they are 10-2 or 2-10 as long the two wins are against Ohio State and Michigan State.

Shoulda only been 44-3.....Aubbie musta felt charitable, and played their 2nd and 3rd team nearly all second half. ;)
