I'll be damned. He was a very good guy with the heart of a lion. Man, back in the day he could put some power under the hood.

To me I will always associate Robert with Davey Allison. May they both rest in peace.

I’m with you on that one Will. Although I was an avid Earnhardt Sr. fan during Davy’s best years, I’ll have to admit, the Yates, Allison, Larry McReynolds trio was on top of their game. With Earnhardt running, it was always a great Chevy/Ford battle. The “old” guys are dropping like flies, and it sucks.
