I ordered some wild huckleberry plants from a nursery in Tennessee. Don’t know if you have them, but they grew all over the mountains where I grew up. On of my uncles was nicknamed Huck because of his love of them.
They are deer magnets. And I’ll bet they are bear attractors too now that there are bears there.

Funny thing, I saw them growing above the Artic Circle in the tundra. At least they tasted and looked just like the same thing. They don’t grow where I live now, thus this experiment.

I set out some cuttings off those Jap persimmons that I posted last week.....the persimmons themselves are seedless, so I borrowed some of the big branches from the widow lady's tree.

I have a guy coming over today to give me a quote on taking down my willow tree. I really love tha tree but I put it in a bad place when I planted it not. Now every time I walk in the front door I have to walk through willow branches.

Put the wheels back on it and move your house over a few feet. ;)

I wish it had wheels, I would buy 20 acres and move my house to it.
