Deer from my lease

The bucks are sure moving this week, these 3 bucks were taken off my lease in the last 3 days and I have been stuck at work.

The first one is the one I like!

That second one was a brute, the first one had the nicest horns and the third one was probably the oldest. We estimate 4.5 or 5.5 years.

I’m still partial to the first. He was kind enough to walk up that aluminum ramp and lay down on his own. That’s a solid move, regardless of age, or rack size.

That first one reminds me of the one I got in the national forest about 10 years ago. Buck of a lifetime for me to be honest.

Stuck at work must suck, but the weekend cometh my friend. :)

Them would have been good deer in a year or two.
Our NC lease is almost devoid of deer
Years ago we would kill 30 to 40 deer during bow season, Muzzle loader season and opening week of gun season
This year there has been only 4 deer kill this whole time.
Coyotes and hogs has cost us big time.
It’s a whole different world over there.
