He kilt a small 7 a week ago then did this Sat morning. Cannot load pic. I will send to Thump and maybe he can post it.

Sorry Boogeyman, I got side-tracked right after I talked with you. Here are the pics (yes, the files were humongous)! From what I can see, those are a couple of nice, big-bodied bucks for Florida deer! :thumbsup

BUT .... the boy sure needs a better photographer! Pics taken from the ass-end and cutting out half the rack will not earn any photo contests! :thack

He was trying to kill a doe (doe weekend) from a climber. Left his rifle at home, on account a he's a dumbass, and only had shotgun and some buckshot in the truck. This thinner horned one came up behind him an he laid it down at about 25 yards, then the heavier one came walking by 5 minutes later while he was texting me and he shot him at about 50 yards. That one we gave an hour and then trailed running tracks, bubbles in the water, and finally, blood trail. (I hate buckshot) he went about 150 yards through a swamp.

I had two does lined up almost perfectly to try a two for one shot this past Saturday, but I thought better if it. (Picture a devil on one shoulder trying to talk me into it and an angel on the other arguing against it.) I was hunting over a real steep creek drainage and the idea if trying to haul both of them up that hill won out. With age comes wisdom. But, damn that would have made a good story.
