Ever go to work when you are so sick you can't even see straight? I'm barely functioning as a human today. Why wouldn't I just call in sick? Because sometimes it's just plain way too much work to get caught back up when you are gone, than just toughing it out for the day. Thank goodness Christmas Break starts tomorrow morning!

I am just getting over bad chest cold and it is the pits. What finally got me feeling better was gargling with warm salt water for my sore throat and snorting warm salt water up my nostrils to deal with the irritation in my sinuses.

Oh, that and daily toddies made whiskey, honey, lemon juice, and just enough hot water to melt the honey.

I’m not sure which it was but it fixed my Okie self up in about a week.
