Good start to the new year

Yesterday my boss called me up to his office, which usually means adding additional jobs to my work load. He informed me that three years ago, a 3% raise had somehow not been added to my pay rate and that I was owed three years of back pay, a couple grand or so. In addition, when you put that with this years raise, that's a nice chunk of change for a poor old country boy

it's probably going to pay tax and license on a new set of wheels for mama so it's kinda hard to keep that from her
