Ha! Yep, whenever we have a cold snap, they start falling out of the trees! I've never seen any around here, but they're plentiful south of here ... toward the areas closer to Miami.

I’ve actually eaten iguana before in Mexico. It seriously tastes like chicken.

I’ve not eaten it myself, but at a bar and grill in Bonaire they cooked up iguana in a big pot for a table full of locals and they dug in like Thumper on a bucket of kfc. it looked like maybe it was stewed.

From what research I've done it sounds like they eat it a lot in Curacao, so I guess I can give you a report in a couple of months.
