My daughter had a baby Boy today.
Daniel Evan was born a little after noon.
Everyone is doing well
Mrs. Captain and I are down here in Savannah taking in the city and hanging out at the hospital.
There sure is some mighty fine eats around here.
Thumper should feel old. Now that my daughter has had a baby!

Reminds me of the day I met Cheryl when she answered the door at the beach house. I thought, WOW! Cappy sure has a HOT daughter! (That’s also the second I decided to accept Cappy’s invitation to stay the weekend). Then I stepped inside and Cappy introduced me to two LITTLE kids, Merideth and a little Hammerhead who actually had to be carried most of the way down the block to breakfast. (Heck, these days, you’d need a danged rollback to do that!) ;)

It’s a bit hard to grasp the fact BOTH of those little rugrats have kids of their own.

Anyway, congrats to all. Yes, I DO feel really old now. :(
