Those of us involved in getting the high school trap team established last year thought this program would pique the interest of a large number of kids and boy did it! As of now, all 6 schools in town have a team with a total of 180 kids participating in the program. Hell, the team I am head coach for has 55 kids by itself!!
Given we had a total last fall of 48 kids, we are a bit nervous about figuring out how to deal with all of these kids but what a great problem to have as long as we can continue to get enough volunteers and sponsorships secured to keep our heads above water.
One thing is certain, it is going to be an INTERESTING spring.
