But we finally got moved. Thought maybe by the end of November but seemed like everything conspired against us. Once we get settled in I hope to post some fish pictures for a change. I'm only five minutes away from a 30,000 acre lake, ten minutes from a couple of small management lakes and about an hour away from some trout streams. The best part is, if the good Lord gives me life and health, I'm only 18 months from retirement. I intend for my retirement to be more like jb's and less like cap'ns

QA I thought you moved a while back, out to the country? Is this another move or just finalizing this one? Congrats on being close to retirement

Same move just had problem with contractor and delayed the move

Posty, it's a little wide spot in the road called Saratoga. I'm about 1/2 mile from the southeast corner of Millwood lake. 25 miles north east of texarkana

Good on ya, Vince! I hope to see lots of fish pics.

What the heck is a management lake/ Is it like a regular lake with retired executives telling you that you're fishing all wrong and they're here to help you to learn how to do it better?

also, what's the over/under on QA's wife telling him he has to go get a day job to get him out of her hair?

It's public lakes on a wildlife management area. Not sure if there's different restrictions from state lakes

I’ve been looking at that lake on maps for years wanting to fish it but have never laid eyes on it. Its only a hop and a skip from where I grew up and even closer to where my Dad’s side of the family lives. Maybe I’ll holler at you some time and have you guide me onto some crappies. I’ve heard its a big time crappie lake.

It's a huge open lake, 65 mile drive around it. Once I learn a little bit about it, you'll be more than welcome
