Charles Krauthammer, a mind I really respected, dead at 68. His commentaries and insightful views on many things will be missed.

He is an icon of that genre of writers. We always need people who can get you out of your box.

I didn't always agree with him but could respect his opinion because I knew he worked hard to deliver informed, thoughtful perspectives. He spoke with great intelligence and thought.
