Blue Angels are in town and doing a little practice on the beautiful summer day.
(85 & sunny w/ 53% humidity) They trade off every other year with the Thunderbirds.
My town is at the base of a U shape bay, surrounded by high hills, I live on the edge of of the hill about 500' above the water. Some of their formations cause them to fly up the valley right over my house, about a few 100 ' up. The noise drives my dogs and my wife nuts, something about a military jet, but you can tell them miles away just by their sound.
The two day air show (Sat. & Sun.) will draw between 300-500K spectators (according to the local news paper) to the shoreline, you don't even want to attempt to go down there.
So, I leave the noise and the traffic to my kids, their families and head down state to a big state trap shoot.
Up here this is the official start of summer. :wink
