Good observations from both of you. :)

I've been there for years now. I grew into an old man a decade or three early lol. I might end up getting a crossbow this season though. Maybe. Just so I can get a deer or two into the freezer ahead of rifle season. Trying to get 2 or 3 deer down and processed in Thanksgiving week can be a real chore.

But most everything else will be stuff I already own. My boots will be going into their 22nd season this time around. :)

I enjoy the food processing catalogs as much as anything else any more. Just in the last few years I bought a 15# sausage stuffer, 3 meat lugs, a new grinder, 25# meat mixer and new Cabela’s commercial grade vacuum sealer. I have my eye on a new dehydrater and jerky gun this year.
