Christmas Came Early

I'm at a point in my life where there is very little I need or want for Christmas, but when Mother Nature chooses to give up a gift like this I'll enjoy it for all it's worth. It was just an honor to catch a brown trout like this out of the Missouri River. He was released within seconds of taking the photo. For me, this is a Christmas gift that showed up early. The fish fought hard, just clear out of the water a couple times right in front of me. So close that the splash from one jump splashed all over me. I was one excited camper to land this fish. I'm still riding high from this one.
