Tis the season for giving

So what's your favorite charity(s)?
If you do some research, some spend more on fund raising than giving, almost a scam.
Mine , (Ours) are Church, Salvation Army, and our schools (with 8 grand kids selling stuff and 7 of our 8 kids working for the schools it's easy to find places and events to give our $$ ) also a few $$ to some local groups like police, fire, VFW, etc

School (my wife is a private/Christian school teacher, it’s a no brainer)
Our church. Our church has many outreaches locally and globally, and every penny goes to what you earmarked it for. No overhead CEO salaries.

Similar to RT, our largest recipient is our church and it’s various local ministries. (We mostly focus our giving on trying to help folks in our community.) I also give a lot of my time by coaching youth sports and being a Scout leader.
