There are time I miss good old Pinelas County. I used to love to fish and hang out at the beaches at Fort Desoto.
And Skip’s on the Beach at Madiera beach.

Yessir, there are condos where Skip's used to be. We like to head over to Clearwater and hit Frenchie's for their kick-ass grouper sandwich and garlic crab fries! Many times, we'll continue south and hit Fort Desoto just to hang out. My buddy has a motor home that he takes over there probably every other weekend or so.

Frenchies?! Was just thinking about that place the other day and thinking it was time to get back down there. Ft. Desoto was pretty cool too. Intended to rent a fishing pole when we were there to try and catch some fish we don't have up here but after seeing the little fish they were catching and watching the dolphins steal most every fish caught I decided to pass.

Thumper, have you ever been to the Cuban restaurant south of Frenchies a couple of miles right before, or after?, you cross the bridge?
