Thump and BM’s posts about local joints that have the best table fare around... it got me to thinking.
I spend a lot of weekends messing around with various cuts of meat on my cheap little grill with a side box smoker. I’ve cooked, and eaten “bbq” from Virginia Beach to San Antonio. I’ve made some myself that I wouldn’t mind putting my name on if you ate it.
Here is a little place somewhere in the middle of nowhere Georgia, that was apparently our beloved Niners favorite roadside BBQ stand.
He made me it a must stop on the way to his last trip to “Lake Conine”. Here’s a pic of it, the ugly fella with the black hat obscures the view a little. There was maybe 2 old wire spools out front to sit a plate on to eat. It’s a “to-go” type of place. Damn that was good bbq. And niner ate the shit out of it! He got a “eat now” plate, and “eat later” plate.

He has legs, but they’re short and and somewhat stubby.
