The hits just keep on coming

Monday my younger brother was diagnosed with Stage 1 non-small cell lung cancer. So in the last 5 years I have lost my older sister and mother to cancer and now this.

I have a Dr appt today for my quarterly check up due to type 2 diabetes but I am going to ask them to run every test/pre screening for cancer known to man.

It really sucks.

I’m sorry to hear that Trav. Stage I is pretty manageable, they’ve come a long way with treatment. Hoping for the best for your brother!

Tough news Trav. Like Arty said, stage 1 is very treatable but I understand how scary the “cancer” word is.
