Across the pond

I’ve been getting packed up today to head out to the United Kingdom. England to be exact. We will land in heathrow and head about two hours south, to the south coast. We will be doing some great history stuff, and plenty of fish and chips!
We will be there 9 days with some of our very best friends that live there, so we will have good tour guides.

I never envisioned me wanting to go to a foreign country (other than maybe a Caribbean country where I can fish and beach it), but I’m actually looking forward to it.

You're going at a good time ... you'll most likely get to actually see the sun while there. July is their hottest month ... heck, it MIGHT get all the way up into the 70's if they have a heat wave. ;)

Have fun dude. When I travel, the minute I get back home I start dreaming of where I'm going to go next. I'm jealous. Remember, when you go out for a pie ... it's probably not dessert! ;)

Yup.... high of 73 basically every day. The south coast gets a tad warmer than London! But not much!

Ha! Here's some Tarheel ne'er-do-well who only drops in once every other month to stir the pot, then disappears again! Naaa, "pudding" is for the lower class in jolly olde England ... I got's me all sorts'o klass, so I get to actually have a proper "dessert" when I'm there!

It’s actually not much different back home. I’m just glad I’m not working and having to wear a uniform and body armor all day on this.
