So I watched some of the 'debate' last night and kept thinking that CNN should have been playing Ozzys Crazy Train as background music.

All aboard! Hahahahahahahaaaa!

I watched and have to admit, I fell asleep about 20 mins. before it was scheduled to end. I honestly feel the Democrat party is imploding. What scares me is the mentality of the voter pool these days. I feel the Demos are, in a way, buying votes with all of the promises of free “everything”!

I realize they’re debating the issues the left wing activists in their party care about. But, I’d they don’t pivot pretty quickly to shit the rest of us care about they have zero chance on 2020.

I think the Democratic party is so scattered right now, they have no chance of pulling it back together by the next election. That may change, but man-o-man do they have their work cut out for them. The main problem is the vast number of candidates who tick off about every box between Liberal Centrists and the far Left wing ... or beyond into full-blown Socialists. What a mess that party is right now. Once the thinning out commences, maybe they can start focusing a little better and decide what their actual platform is, but only time will tell.

I like Trump in a lot of ways, but he also embarrasses the hell out'ta me in a lot of ways. Then again, Obama also embarrassed me in many ways .... mostly when he'd refuse to grow a set of balls and actually stand up and defend this country instead of his usual ass-kissing. His ace-in-the-hole was his "charisma". Trump is like a bull in a china shop, but some of that style is what I actually like about him. Many times I think he acts like an 8-year old brat on the playground, but I do appreciate his business acumen ... "most" of the time.

If the Dems don't get their act together ... and SOON ... Trump is gonna walk away with another one in 2020. They need to quit with the impossibilities of universal healthcare, unlimited border crossings, free college, ad nauseam and get real.

We have a federal election coming up in Oct. and a lot of Canadians (me included) are really looking forward to getting rid of our social dilettante of a Prime Minister (Skippy). What a useless, lying twat he turned out to be but then what could you expect from a man whose claim to fame was his last name.

CD, I think our issues are much the same as your - immigration, economy and environment to name a few. Unfortunately, we now have a leftist globalist party in power that is much more interested in pandering to despots and dictators at the UN than they are in looking after the interests of actual Canadians. Our immigration situation is a mess, our economy is tanking and climate hysteria is now an official government policy. To top it off, Skippy and his crew are a bunch lying assholes.

Other than that, all is well.:banghead

I admit I don't watch debates.... ever. In not into self abuse. :o

I will offer an opinion whilst admitting I am no sort of political expert at all. Just a noticer.

The democratic party isn't imploding, not in and of itself that is. Neither is the republican party regardless of what the never-Trump brigade says. They are both reacting to the tremendous stress and anger that results from intentionally disregarding the will of the citizenry for a few decades.

These two criminal organizations have enriched themselves by impoverishing the nation. Now they are being twisted and deformed by the reaction to their bi-party consensus on globalization, trade, immigration, health care and all the other rackets that line their pockets at the expense of their constituents.

This goes way beyond just having a troupe of clowns pandering the special interest groups. It is the process of remaking the political structure. It's ugly, messy, disorganized.... and only getting started.

IMvHO.

We need to build a wall

around DC then pump it full of water then start over in a Nebraska cornfield with John Q. Farmer in charge. Bring some common sense into the decision making process

I knew exactly how I would vote in the 2020 election the second I heard the results of the 2016 election.
I don’t need to hear anything anyone has to say on the matter, especially from a liberal.
