Wow. I remember years back, there was a bass tournament down here and they found one of the participants had poured buckshot (or bird shot?) down the ol' gullet of his entries before weigh-in. In a different tournament, they had a tip that one of the entrants had stashed fish (he'd previously caught elsewhere) in a wire cage to be netted out for his entries. The tournament actually proved his guilt by running DNA tests on the fish! You're right, many times, sportsmanship flies out the window once big money becomes involved.
