Pecan is my second favorite pie. Especially warmed up with vanilla ice cream on it.

Trav gave me a re ipe for a bourbon pecan pie that is out of this world. Uses maple syrup. I had to cut the bourbon way down because the original would light up a breathalyzer it was that strong. with it tamed down a bit its amazing.

That sounds really good. My sister and brother-in-law make maple syrup. I won’t use anything else than real maple syrup anymore. I can’t stand that thick store bought stuff.
