I thought the same thing ... but I've seen it too many times in person to doubt it. They cut a hole in the top of the bucket just big enough for the kid to fit in so if it tilts, it doesn't dump him out. It does look a bit hokey though ... but his hands seem to be holding stuff that's actually there and it fits pretty well. Who knows? I've seen them move whole households on a motorbike ... including the sofa!

You can tell from their hairs that they are going at a pretty good clip.
Notice how the little girl in front has her head turned, and the boy at "position #3" has his face buried to keep the wind out of their eyes???
Looks to me like the pic was prolly taken out of a bus window...but that is just a wild assed guess.

Can you imagine the shit-fit the left would have if those folks were to do that over here?
Unless, of course, if they were crossing our southern boarder "undocumented". :)
