I had a visitor inside the shooting house with me Saturday morning!!!

I was In a ground blind with a wooden pallet for a floor. I had been there since 6am.... He started rattling at 7:45 and had been under my feet in the pallet the whole time.

I Jumped up on the chair and shot his head 1/2 off inside the blind with a .270...

Ha, yep, saw that in the local newspaper.....everybody around these parts knows that our snakes don’t actually hibernate, they just slow down their activities.....guess that guy didn’t know that.....gotta be careful even in the dead of winter.
