I watched it live, then watched it again. I’ve never seen so much hatred as I saw on the faces of the Dems last night. They all looked like they’d just eaten a lemon, at least, the one’s who bothered to show up. The coup de grace had to be when Pelosi stood up and ripped her copy of the speech in half! Man-o-man, the gov’t is broken and I’ve never seen anything like it in my lifetime. I see half those Dems jumping off a cliff when Trump gets re-elected! I can’t imagine how much he could get done if he wasn’t fighting an uphill battle with EVERYTHING he does.

The class act of the night.

Funny, all I could think of is wishing I could pull that ripped up speech from the trash. I'd take each piece, add this pic, frame them together, number them (like 1 of 100, 2 of 100, etc) and make a fortune selling them on eBay!

(Sorry, I just can't shake the Entrepreneurial mindset.) :encouragement:

Hannity offered $25K for it, last night on the air.

Dang! California born and raised Lynn refuses to let me watch FOX when we’re in bed together. I had the choice of watching from the living room, or watching CNN. Heck, the speech was the same, so no biggie. But afterwards, I missed much of Hannity while waiting for her to fall asleep so I could change channels. :(

FOX this morning stated that any original copy of any president's SOTU speech becomes the property of the federal govt., and it is to be placed in the govt. archives.....soooo, Pelosi is guilty of destruction of federal govt. property, which is punishable by federal law, as follows:

"""As amended on September 13, 1994, if the damage exceeds $100, the defendant is subject to a fine of up to $250,000, ten years imprisonment, or both."""

In all seriousness is there a way to legally remove Nancy Pelosi? I mean like right now!

Well, if Hannity offered 25K for it last night, that means the damage exceeds $100, correct. Can she be "impeached"? ;)

In all seriousness ... I assume this would be a loophole.

Wouldn't Pelosi's be a COPY of the original? (Dang, it'd be cool if Trump could have predicted her actions and slipped her the original, then read from a copy!) :D

Watching Nancy last night made me think of the lyrics from an old Tony Joe White song - "a wretched, spiteful, straight-razor totin' woman".

I had almost forgotten that Romney had begged Trump for the Sec. of State job in 2016.....Trump turned him down, and Romney has been ass-hurt ever since.....he got a sliver of revenge against Trump with his guilty vote, but he's lost all credibility with his Republican constituents.....some Senators have already gone so far as to wear, "Quit, Mitt", lapel buttons.....I might even respect him a little bit, if he would just switch over to the Demowit party.

Well I can tell you on a local Utah basis Mitt is about as popular as a turd in a punch bowl. The majority of voters in Utah want him out and feel betrayed from what I can tell. The only credit I can give him at all is standing his ground even if it is on shaky ground. I've had to stand alone with some difficult decisions before and I'm sure I will again, it's a lonely place.

Mixed emotions here. I've never been much of a Mitt fan personally, but I respect his decision if it's how he REALLY felt. Everyone (else) voted along party lines. You can't tell me that out of the other 99 in Congress, not ONE had doubts about how they REALLY felt, but were afraid to rock the boat and toed the (party) line.

My opinion is to be a team player.....there’s no “I” in the word “team”.....stick up and stand up for your platoon....fight and perform, as a group.....all for one and one for all.....Romney screwed a very big pooch!!!
