It was about increasing the font size of the bookmark and URL section at the top of the pc screen.....Well, I figured it out on my own:

We know what you did. You clicked on “increase pecker size”, didn’t you? ;)

Actually, I had already tried the desktop method, a month ago, that was the reason I asked you guys for help.....sorry, but it didn't work for me, at least not on my new Dell pc....think I'll just stick to my "new-found" old archaic way.....works perfectly, no more squinting at that specific area of my screen.....thanks, for all the help, anyway.

Btw, Airbud, here is what you said Thumper posted, but it only increases the font size of the ENTIRE page, EXCEPT it has nothing to do with the font size of the specific area, which I posted in my original picture.

"""""Thump posted this earlier"""""....

""""Well ok, I'm FAR from being a techie, but right click on your desktop, then click on display settings. I'd assume if you then click on change size of display settings (100%, 125% etc), it might help you out. If not, I have no clue."""""

yea, I'm running 150% in chrome on a 42" monitor (1080p) about 5' away....everything's clear as a bell.

my graphics card a (RTX 2080 Super) cost more than most folks PC alone.

Wow, I only spent a paltry $1,200 on this new Dell pc !!!.....can I borrow a few bucks for some grits and turnip greens? ;)

if I were to ever buy a pre-built computer it would definitely be a Dell...their Alienware lineup is pretty stout.

Since we're talking resizing, how do I set my resolution so that when I hook up my HDMI cable to my laptop, it fits my TV screen?

Measure the image and buy a tv that it fits. You're welcome. :D

FYI ... I copied your question and inserted this into a Google search:

how do I set my resolution so that when I hook up my HDMI cable to my laptop, it fits my TV screen

There are a bunch of answers for you there. (I'm a frigging genius!) ;)
