It snowed today, that makes the 8th month in a row we've had snow, and yes, it's time to move on into a real spring.

The weather ho's say the low will be 67 today, but it's a beautiful 64 right now. Supposed to be 87 by late afternoon (or 86 depending on whom you choose to believe).

Yeah we got the same one. Hard freeze and a covering of snow.... If my place has one apple or pear on it this fall I'll be amazed. At least the 3 week forecast has this as the last cold snap.

This has been a Wisconsin or Minnesota spring for WV. I've never seen a windier March, a wetter April, or a colder May in West Virginia.

34 with a wind chill of 24 here last night as the wind was blowing 15-25. Luckily, my tarp stayed put and my peppers and ‘maters did okay. More of the same in store for tonight before we get a good run of spring weather.

It only got up to 85 here today, but that cold front is supposed to hit us tomorrow with a rainy day and high of 76. Back up to 87 on Monday.

Are those strawberries to the right of that tarp CD? Still blooming?

Yep, a small strawberry patch. Still blooming some. But, a lot of the berries have set.

Yep, ours usually finish up in April with maybe a few stragglers in early May.

Friday was BEAUTIFUL but snowed on Saturday. Been having to cover the strawberry patch up for the past couple of nights with a couple more to go according to the weather man.
